For the best interest of the MMS we are taking the 2007 year to reorganize our beloved event and therefore we have elected to produce the next Midwest Music Summit August 7-9, 2008. The MMS has grown tremendously over the past 6 years and can become very overwhelming for our staff of volunteers. We will utilize 2007 to establish relationships with new sponsors and partners as well as continue working on our 501 (c) (3) filing, and start planning for one of the most aggressive MMS events in our history.

This blog will serve as a temporary website until our new site design is completed. We encourage you to email or post us any comments, ideas and support to the MMS. We truly appreciate everyone’s continued support for the last 6 years and we are looking forward to a very exciting 2008 for MMS.

Submission information for the 2008 MMS can be found HERE.

During this time, MMS Director Josh Baker, will be assisting in the production of the first ever Monolith Festival at Red Rocks.

This two-day festival will feature over 50 bands playing on 4 stages at the world famous Red Rocks. If you would like to get involved with the Monolith Festival you can contact Josh at jb@monolithfestival.com.

Artist Submissions for MONOLITH are now open via Sonicbids and Traditional Mail-In.
